  31. I just bought the 1230XA used, and it came with the little documentation
  32. page ;)  (and what a bitch it was to get it into the slot, ugh)

  38. Only by having its own, wide memory installed will the M1230 XA give you the
  39. full benefit of it's faster processor. (blah blah, nistructions follow for
  40. installation of 4 megs. ahem)

  42. M1230XA does NOT use the common, 8 bit SIMM as found in the Macintosh
  43. marketplace. Rather it uses the same sort of Simm as use din the Amiga 4000.
  44. This is a 72-pin, 32-bit wide SIMM. M1230 needs at least 100ns SIMMS.

  58.     By the way I'd heard these 030/50's were supposed to reach like 10
  59. mips, but when I run sysinfo I only get about 7.5.. how do you have yours
  60. configured? I run AutoXA and then sometimes "cpu fastrom" but the latter
  61. doesn't really seem to help... I have everything in setxa set correctly..
